From Ebenezer UMC SmallGroups wiki
- Welcome to Ebenezer UMC Small Groups ministry! This is your place to find and share information about our growing population of small groups and ideas. If you need to get back to the Ebenezer UMC home page just click here. If you want to have a personal login (so you can make changes or contribute) please send an email to Ken Beutel or click here.
- Do you need to find a place where you can continue to study and investigate God’s Word with other committed Christians so that you can all experience life more deeply together and build on the Sunday worship service? Join a small group! We have them in all shapes and sizes here at Ebenezer and surely there is one that is right for you! How can you get connected? Give us a call or send us an e-mail and we can provide a list of all the current small groups that are meeting at Ebenezer. Click Ebenezer_UMC_SmallGroups_wiki:Group_Pages to see a list of our small groups.
- If there isn’t a group that meets your particular style, let us know and together we can start a new one. Starting a small group is easy, all you need is two or more Christians that agree to come together on a regular basis for a common purpose; a committed leader who encourages their growth to become more Christ-like by providing an environment for accountability, connection, and community; and an agreed upon meeting location. If you have one of the three elements above, you are already one third of the way there!

[edit] Small Group Spotlight on: Sailing small group
This small group is getting started by Ken Beutel to provide an opportunity for Ebenezer members interested in learning to sail while discussing life application of biblical principles. The group will meet at the Quantico Marina and spend 1-2 hours an evening discussing how God helps train us to navigate our course while experiencing the winds and currents in our lives.
See more information about this new small group page at http://smallgroups.ebenezerumc.org/wiki/index.php?title=Sailing
